2nd Annual WRC Jail Fundraiser

Date: Wednesday December 8th 2010.

For this fundraiser we had various "citizens" put in jail at The Dock and they had to post "bail" for WRC to get out. This event started at happy hour, and included a silent auction and a 50/50. Rick, owner of The Dock, had live music that night which was really nice. Thank you so much to all of you that were involved. You were amazing with all the creative ways in which you helped to make this fundraiser happen and be the success that it was! The bonus is that it was a lot of fun!

Thanks to everyone who helped BAIL US OUT and for helping to grow the Loudoun Women's Resource Center. A big thank you to our participants: Ryan Koppel from Champion Title, Tanya Spotts with Long & Foster, Keith Barrett, Karen Trainor (Weichert Ashburn), and Sergio from Ashburn Wine Shop.

Spring 2010 WRC Fashion Show

Date: Monday April 26th 2010.

Our Cabi Fashion Show was a hit! Thanks to all of the beautiful models of the red carpet! We had a blast, everyone looked wonderful, and we got a lot of publicity. We appreciate everyone's participation and contribution to this fun fundraiser and look forward to having another one this Fall. All proceeds went towards supporting the LWRC. This event was held April 26, 2010 at the Dock at Lansdowne. See more photos of this event.

Jail Fundraiser

Date: Tuesday December 8th 2009.

For this fundraiser we had various "citizens" put in jail at The Dock and they had to post "bail" for WRC to get out.

Thanks to everyone who helped BAIL US OUT during our Jail Fundraiser at The Dock at Lansdowne. Your donations were our keys to freedom! Together we're helping to grow the Loudoun Women's Resource Center which in turn will be helping to build stronger families and communities in Loudoun County! A HUGE thank you to our participants: Christy Slone, Erin Beckner, Joy Lucas, Keith Barrett, Bruce Lipson, Katie Ward, Eve Bosek, Pepe Carreras, Rick Allison, and Vic Herman.

Our 1st Fundraiser was held at The Dock at Lansdowne

While enjoying The Dock's delicious fare ("One Bite and You're Hooked!"), patrons helped us raise necessary funds for WRC. WRC Board members were present to talk with diners and tell them more about the Women's Resource Center.
